Hello! Matt here.

Everyone has been hard at work contacting local newspapers and their schools to help publicize the B-Inspired Contest. The contest is now “officially” over as of last Friday, and prizes ranged from public recognition by Stanford’s Asian Liver Center to tickets to Great America. The council is debating about whether or not to extend the deadline to get some last minute submissions. Hopefully, a few more prose and video entries will trickle in.

On April 25, the East Bay group plans to do their Peter and the Wolf Play at the Fremont Main Library which is located at 2400 Stevenson Blvd Fremont CA. The event will occur from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to get maximum exposure. The council members will provide coloring activities, a play, and much more!

So far, 17 cities have committed to joining us for Hepatitis B Awareness Week. Many more to come!
