Hello Everyone, sorry it took me so long to get this blog out. I am very new at this blog thing (this being my first, and not knowing how to even post it), and Evaline did a wonderful review of the B-Inspired Contest over a week ago that I didn’t want to draw attention from that.
Anyways, JRYC is very busy with other projects. The South Bay group has just completed their performance of “Peter and the Wolf” at the Cupertino Library, and the East Bay group is planning their performance at the Fremont Library on April 18th.
The restaurant fundraisers are moving in to high gear now. Most are scheduled to coincide with Hepatitis B Awareness Week May 17-23. The San Ramon Baja Fresh is scheduled for May 22. On May 19, the Cupertino Fresh Choice, the Sunnyvale Jamba Juice and Sweet Tomatoes, and the Mountain View Fresh Choice are all penciled in. The California Pizza Kitchen in Emeryville is scheduled for April 28. More restaurants are in the works.
We hope everyone will participate in the B-Inspired! contest as well as become involved in their school organizations. Everyone also needs to eat, so come out to your nearest local restaurant fundraiser and bring 10 of your hungriest friends to support a great cause.
